Lucy Mecklenburgh’s perfume gives you Wings

Former The Only Way Is Essex star Lucy Mecklenburgh revealed her new fragrance Wings this week and the reality favourite invited people down to The Dorchester hotel in London to celebrate.

The beautiful brunette wore a stunning Suzanne Neville gown with Aruna Seth heels (the brand worn by Pippa Middleton and Kate Hudson) to the gathering in the spa area.

Guests sipped champagne and munched on canapés before they got a chance to speak to the lovely lady herself.

My fave were these Scrummy tuna tar tar cones, tasty and healthy, but I’d expect nothing less from the ResultswithLucy.com creator who is all about a good diet and maintaining fitness these days.

By the looks and sounds of it everyone loved the perfume which has tangerine, nectarine, blackcurrent and bergamot tops notes, freesia, jasmine and gardenia heart notes, plus patchouli, vanilla and musk base notes.

The bottle reminded me of Marc Jacobs’ Daisy, however instead of flowers on the packaging for this scent, it’s oversized butterflies on the cap.

The gold and white location perfectly complimented the theme of the box and the glass container. At £24.99 for 100ml it’s definitely worth the investment as it looks so good you’ll want to keep it on your dressing table even after it’s finished.

Lucy’s personal trainer, sister, mum as well as other important mentors in her life were around to support congratulate her which was sweet to see.

Lucy said: ‘It’s a dream come true to have my own fragrance. As a little girl growing up I could never imagine having my own perfume! I’ve worked really hard for months on it and I’m really proud of it.

‘It smells gorgeous and the butterfly bottle is just adorable, I love it!’
