I remember always having the Littlewoods catalogue around my house when I was younger. So it was great to see how much the brand has evolved when I walked into the location for their Spring/Summer 2015 press day at London’s Music Room.

Guests were greeted with fruity prosecco cocktails and offered desert canapes while perusing the pieces coming out next year.

The setup was great. In the centre a glittery blue floor to resemble a swimming pool, with bathing suit-clad mannequins around it, I felt like I’d been transported to the Standard hotel in West Hollywood (as seen in Sex and the City).

To add to the 60s/70s hippy vibe, the inspiration behind Coleen Rooney‘s fashion collection for the brand, Boom Nails was on hand to make sure guests had a manicure to match.

I opted for a marble effect polish design cleverly done by applying a streak of white varnish on top of the blue and rolling over a piece of scrunched up cling film.
After jazzing up my hands I took the selfie booth for a few snaps and then walked around the showroom to see what stood out.
From Coleen Rooney, the yellow Sixties coat for £100, Lace Collar Bib Dress £69 plus Floral Geo Print T-Shirt £37.

From Myleene Klass I was drawn to the Leather Look Biker Jacket £74 and her Strappy Animal Print Swimsuit £37.
In our goodie bags we were given a cushion with the word ‘home’ emblazoned across it which comes from their Home collection.
Check out some of the furnishings I snapped and let me know what you think.
