We had a bit of an unexpected evening on Thursday at the nANA jUDY event at Hoxton Basement. We ended up spending the night with Kitty Brucknell from X Factor 2011. Here’s how it all unfolded.
While perusing the Spring/Summer 2015 racks of the Encapsulate collection we listened to the sounds of MTV presenter Becca Dudley who was DJ for the night.

The Australian brand has some cool cuts with their gear more channeled towards the office, like black peplum skirts and strapless jumpsuits. Additionally their more casual clothes like The Modernist prints, which displays colourful paint patterns, plus the Wanderlust, which used butterfly motifs for cute dresses and tops.
As well as Becca, Ellie Goulding and Little Mix are fans, as well as the bands X Factor rival Kitty now.
She arrived wearing a nude floor-length gown with an apt cat face mask on her head.
Over Prosecco, Propercorn and canapés (including yummy courgette and feta cheese wraps) we discussed the current series of The X Factor, the cosmetic surgery she’s had and her latest music, about all of which she was very frank.
In our goodie bags we got a Nana Judy hat with the slogan ‘NANA’ emblazoned cross it. It’ll definitely come in handy for winter. In there was also nail stickers, granola, a Little Miracles drink, balance me facial wash and a voucher for money off a bounce car ride.

So we hopped in a cab to attend the Ann Summers and Coppafeel after party following an event they’d had in the Westfield Stratford store earlier.
TOWIE’s Jessica Wright showed up to DSTRKT as well as Louise Thompson from Made In Chelsea along with her New Yorker boyfriend.
It’s a venue I’d been meaning to go to for a while now, as you can see on the boards they have on entrance to the club a lot of celebs have been there.
Unfortunately at the nightclub part (they also have a restaurant) the bar staff didn’t seem to have any manners whatsoever. I witnessed them be so rude to many guests including myself several times, regularly ignoring them and choosing to talk to each other instead of taking drinks orders.
Hopefully we just got a bad set of staff that night as the venue looks great loads of media events are held there so I’ll probably end up having to go back.
Have you been to DSTRKT? Let Me Know!
the people and the clothes look amazing!! ❤
