V Festival: Living large in the Louder Lounge

V Festival is ALWAYS a blast when you’re in the Louder Lounge. This year I took my older sister Bianca to share in the delights of an area where food and drink is taken care of, plus guests like me get to hang out with the many many celebrities who were granted a ticket too.

Win between diving into a ball pit and chowing down on ice cream sandwiches, we spotted regular attendee Ralf Little chatting to fellow comedian Jack Whitehall and girlfriend Gemma Chan, plus stars from Game of Thrones, Alexandra Burke, Coleen Rooney, Kiss 100 DJ Melvin, Professor Green and Millie Mackintosh… you get the drift.

We stayed overnight on Saturday (with Justin Timberlake headlining) in a pre-erected tent right outside the Louder Lounge, from Tangerine Fields, complete with sleeping bags and inflatable mattress. While it’s easy to assume all the celebs were provided with swanky ensuite campervans, we did spot a BBC actress two tents down from us.

I already stood out in my Frida Kahlo-esque floral head arrangement, which I was gifted at a Rekorderlig event, but I visited the Elegant Touch salon next to the Louder Lounge to make sure my talons looked good too.

In true festival fashion I opted for a ‘YOLO’ slogan with the House of Holland stick on nails range while former Made In Chelsea star Ashley James sat beside me after getting her lashes done at Eyelure, and hair braided at the Mark Hill tent.

When I wasn’t mingling in the exclusive areas at V Festival, I still found myself bumping into stars. The lovely Samantha Barks – who I’d chatted to at the World Cup Gabbi’s Head pub launch – was holding hands with boyfriend Richard Fleeshman as we watched Sam Smith.
